I work at Hygæe (paint manufacturing company) as development engineer. Hygæa manufactures both decorative and industrial coatings. I am responsible for development of industrial paints of the following types:
  We have developed a series of fast-drying lacquers and enamels, covering all methods of application.
We have developed an air drying ethanol soluble NC and alkyd based lacquer, which is more environmentally friendly and chipper then  the most wood-lacquers available in market. We also have developed high solid (VOC < 400g/l)  acid-hardening and 2-component polyurethane lacquers.
We also have developed 2-component polyurethane soft-feel coating, which have a very high mar-risistance and a very soft touching surface. We have developed a 2-component polyurethane soft-feel coating for plastics such as PC and baybland (PC/PS), our soft-feel has a very good adhesion to plastics and a vary high mar-risistance. we have also developed a 2-component polyurethane leather-look coating, which has both the look and the touch of  real leather. Leather-look system can be used both on plastic and wood.
