The Volvo FL12 6x6 is tailor-made as a tank transporter. The customer has a choice of the Volvo Powertronic gearbox, an automatic 5 or 6 speed transmission. In order to utilise the best performance and achieve maximum driveability, the Powertronic can also be equipped with an integrated primary retarder. This gives very high braking power, not only at high speed.
Easy tank loading/unloading by using two 20 tonnes' winches which can be manoeuvred separately and at two different speeds. Engine outputs from 340 to 420 Hp.
