Executive Director of Project Parity and Partner in Eyecatcher Associates, Tim Symonds has been a long-standing activist in women´s campaigns. In 1980 he co-founded the 300 Group campaign to get more women elected and was the Press Officer 19XX-19XX. Tim Symonds was born in London. He graduated from University of California Los Angeles with an Honours Degree in Government.

He tutored in American Government at UCLA and as a journalist travelled extensively throughout Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, and as a TV Current Affairs director in Asia Minor. He stood for parliament in a by-election in 1973 and at the 1974 General Election.
