Spock's Beard :
|
 |
|
SPOCK's BEARD will do an internet chat session before their show on
14th of september at the Zeche in Bochum (Germany). The chat is held
by the Doc Rock Show.
After their start in april 1999, the Doc Rock Show has been elected
as a german cult site in no time. Although just some months online,
they already can look back on a whole lot of popular and interesting
chat guests.
The Doc Rock Show extends the standard text based internet chat by
two live webcams taking pictures every five seconds. Furthermore,
there is a live audio stream (MP3 format) during the chat, which
gets fed by new / unreleased material and / or a live microphone.
The stream can be listened to using a special MP3 streaming player
which can be downloaded from Doc Rock for free.

Timescape :

The band have completed the recordings of their new album
"Strange". It's a loosely thematic effort that deals with darker side
of the human mind, filled with emotions, anger, regret and pain.
It's also a highly melodic album and the songs are even more in
focus this time than they were on the previous effort "two worlds".
Hopefully "Strange" will be released in late October or mid-November.
The song-list is as follows:
Falling Clown
Castles of Sand
Hell Freezes Over
Moontower
Watching Over You
...and...
looking for a Miracle
Crossroad
Stranger in the Mirror
I'm Your Nothing
aDaYiN@LiFe
The album was recorded and mixed in the same studio as the
previous effort "two worlds", i.e. in "Studion", Bjärnum, Sweden
with the same engineer and co-producer, Mr. Jörgen Stridh.
It was recorded over a 9 week-period split up between January
and August 1999.
