This band is one of my favorites. The same titled first album is an explosion of original ideas and breathtaking music. The album sounds very mysterious and it sucks you right in a world of dreams and imagination. The four musicians play electric and acoustic instruments, with a very surprising role for the flute. The highlight of the album is the epic song "The Queen Of The City Of Ice". Especially on this track the multi vocals of this band reach infinite hights. Fans of Shadow Gallery seem to be divided about this album in relation to the next album "Carved In Stone". Some people love the debut and hate the change the band has made with their second album. I'm not one of them, I love them both! The third album "Tyranny" is some other story, this might be the best progalbum in this century.
