This is really spookey. An album released after the actual death of
Freddie Mercury. The time that this man had left of his life, he used
for singing. Everytime he felt like singing he used to call to Brian, or
any other of the band, and tell them to come done to the studio. They
sure didn't waste no time at the end...
If you've read my review of "Innuendo" I said that it was one of the
best Queen albums ever made. "Made In Heaven" is better that "Innuendo",
which makes it close to the best album they ever put out. With not one
bad song, and Freddie in top shape this album fills you with such
emotion that you could burst. If you're one of those who really misses
Freddie, then you'll problably start crying when you hear it...
As i said all of the songs are great, but the absolutley best ones are
tracks 2, 3, 6, 8 and 10. "Too Much Love Will Kill You" is from Brian
Mays' solo career (kind of ironic title, don't you think?). "A Winters
Tale" is a slow, snowy tune that fits perfect in your record player when
you're about to sleep. I can't avoid mentioning "Let Me Live", the
cheer-up-song. As always when Queen decidedes to do a song with gospel
feel it comes out good. They've always had great choirs, and in this
song they really show you that it's not just a fact, but also an
experience...
