THE LEMMINGS WERE PUSHED
Written by Magnus Florin

Wow! Mind Gallery delivers instrumental progressive rock at it's best. In this type of music there are three things one can judge bands and their music on. 1) The atmostphere of the music 2) The technical skills of the musicians and 3) The song titles. Mind Gallery fit into the top listings of all these three categories. The feel of the music is a positive one since it's really quite easy listening stuff, even if there are a lot of different parts in each song. The skills of teh musicians are just "all that". They dont tend to be extreme show-offs, but you can't help noticing that they are skillful though. Just as it should be, I think. And then there are the song titles: always interesting. Or how about "Quote, Unquote", "Earth Rebirth", "This n, Than n" and "Indecisive Indeciosions". All really cool.

The influnces come from YES, I guess. And the basic progressive rock, but also a lot fom Genesis. It's hard to get a grip on this though, since there are no vocals. And that is what I would like to finish this review with. Mind Gallery is a great band, but with a good vocalist they would be among the best. Think about that.
