The second release from the superb progressive rock band Kansas. An album from -75 with classics on it such as the title track "Song For America", "Down Road", "Lamplight Symphony" and "Incomudro - Hymn to the Atman". Most of the songs I mentioned are long epic tracks, in the style that really only Kansas can produce. What? did I hear you say you haven't heard Kansas at all. Shame on you! Kansas is one of the most important bands that's ever been. Read the biography on Through Different Eyes and learn more.
The album is produced by Jeff Glixman, as if that hasn't happened before, and Wally Gold. I think they've succeded with the year of the release in mind. It like if a general rock band with keyboards and violin enters the stage. It's a got a spacey live feel to it. One of the best Kansas albums...Go and get it!
