The second release from chivalry inspired Kamolot. To describe their
music would problably say like this. It's a Crimson Glory sounding band,
only slower and less aggressive. When I say Crimson Glory, I mostly
refer to the vocalist, Mark Vanderbilt. He is the most Midnight sounding
singer I've ever heard. Very emotional.
This is a great album for the first period of listening. The when you
get a little tired of it, it's just a good album. Huge difference. When
I look at it today, I find two or three songs that I'm really fond of.
Those are tracks 6 and 9. Most of the songs sound like some kind of
pre-battle music in a King Arthur movie, or somthing. That's what makes
Kamelot a little unique. The sound of knights marching. I guess that's
exactly what they want.
One interesting fact is that the lyricist in the band is the drummer,
Richard Wagner. Similar to Rush, and Neil Peart.
