Another solo album from Fish, former vocalist of Marillion. For those who relly loved "Vigil...", then this is another goodie. The big difference is that this album is a much more go-back-to-the-roots thing. The whole album has the sound of Scotland, added with Fishs' unique voice. It's not like you hear bag-pipes all the time, but the feel is there.
The album has a sub-title, "Internal Exile - A collection of boy's own stories". It's obviously quite a nostalgic album for Fish himself. Produced by Chris Kimsey, and dedicated to Fish's daughter Tara.
Favourite tracks would be "Shadowplay", a track with similarities of the old Marillion song "Incubus", "Credo", "Lucky" and "Internal Exile". One of the better albums by Fish, but not enough to beat "Vigil...".
