ARIA
Written by Magnus Florin

Also one of the best Asia albums. It's hard to say if it's better than Aqua, since my opinion about them changes all the time. Both are relly good. The difference of is of course Steve Howe, that not brings his talents to this album.

I think you could say that the choirs are a little bit mightier on this album than any other by Asia. Especially in "Desire", where the chorus breaks you in half, and brings emotions enough to make you cry. If you're that kind of a listener, of course. The last track, "Aria" is some kind of reprise of "Desire". It starts out with another verse, but then enters the chorus with a little more orchestral attitude. Other great one are tracks 4, 7, 8 and 10. Asia always manages to find great melodies and sounds in the choruses, but sometimes the verses get a little too dull. Without Payne on vocals, it would problably be that way, a lot more often.

An album worth buying, defenitly. Easy listening, but still progressive.
