You are known as the founder of Kansas, AD and for your own solo career.Your song writing skill is phenomenal. Where do you find all the inspiration and ideas? |
| Kerry: |
There is no easy answer to that...when inspiration comes, it comes, and when it doesn't - it's best not to attempt to write.

Tell us about your latest work "Collector Sedition" and your future plans. |
| Kerry: |
It's an album of mostly new work and some re-composing and recording of some older but unreleased material. So far, it's taking a rather progressive turn. We're comtemplating a double CD.

Tell us more about your co-work with Ronnie James Dio. Both professionally and if you want, personally. |
| Kerry: |
Ronnie sang on two tracks on Seeds of Change. That's the only time we have worked together. He was phenomenal, and a great guy to work with. I wish I had used him more. |

Your book "Seeds of Change" seems to be quite hard to find for most people. Isn't there a desire for the book noticed, and tell us more about the content of it? |
| Kerry: |
Yes there is of course a desire for it to have wider distribution, although it's available to anyone through numavox.com. It's my musical and spiritual biography. |

On Kansas "Freaks of Nature" you wrote a song, "Cold Grey Morning", and also "Wheels". Is this something that could happen again? |
| Kerry: |
Sure, with the right song and circumstances. |

Your funniest road memory ever?
| Kerry: |
Probably a road trip the first Kansas band took to Albequerque, NM in 1970. So many funny things happened it's hard to cover it all. I wrote about some of it in my book.
