The Band
Dahlström is a rock n' roll band from everywhere, or nowhere, in the world. There are only two members in the band, two multi musicians - John & Joe Dahlström.
Dahlström is a live band, even though they've never been on stage in front of a audience. When I ask them about this John replies: "To be able to play live you must have, you know, at least, and I say at least, 2 more human beings to produce our fat and macho sound. We need a drummer and a bass player. They could of course be women, since we believe in women's lib. But, to be honest, it doesn't matter if we find that drummer and that f-ckin' bass player or not, since our lyrics, ya know, are damned great poetry anyway. It can simply, ya know, be read out without any music to back it up!"
The name "Dahlström" (or Dahlstrom in English) were chosen to celebrate the perhaps biggest writer through times. This living legend - Sture Dahlström. To those who haven't read anything of him, John & Joe shouts: "READ DAHLSTRÖM!!!"
