General information

General information

In our Internet Shop you can search for and order gifts and souvenirs. Above all that goes for products made in Sweden but also from our neighboring countries. Our objective is on your behalf to find gifts and souvenirs that are very special for our part of the world as e.g. products made by reindeer hide, reindeer horn, different kinds of wood, glass, tin, copper, brass, leather, beeswax, etc. and products which are connected to our culture as e.g. Lapp handicrafts, handicraft products, Midsummer celebration, painted wooden horses from Dalarna, Father Christmas, etc.

In the descriptions of many products you are told that the product can hold "credit cards", "driving license", "unfolded bank notes", etc. We guess that there are many types and sizes of such things all over the world. And this text can only be referred to as the Swedish types and sizes.

We also, of course, deliver within Sweden. But all pages with English text do only inform about what is valid when delivering outside Sweden. So if you want the delivery to be within Sweden you are requested to read and order according to the Swedish text.


Ordering

Ordering is done with this Internet Shop ordering system.

You can either search for a certain product group ("Bags...", "Bracelets", etc.) and then take help from the list to the left on the first page. Or you can go directly to the complete product indexes in alphabetical or product number order. From those product indexes you can go to each product description or to the product picture (click on the green bullet in front of the product).

When you have found a product you want to buy, you click on "Ordering" at the end of each page and you will get the "My order" page where you fill in required quantity of that product, product number, product name, size, color, model, etc. and the amount (quantity * product price). On the same page you fill in all information needed for us to deliver the goods.

Write down your order number! It will automatically be produced on the "My order" page. You need your order number in all your contacts with us. And when you pay you have to write it on the 'paying-in form'. And you use it to see your order status.

All prices (on the pages with English text) are without VAT. The tax laws for VAT states that

So please fill in the information on the "My order" page as careful as possible, specially the radio button "delivery place" at the top of the page,  the "VAT number" and "Country".

When you are about to send your order you will know all your costs except the freight cost.

When we have received your order we will send you a confirmation by e-mail (and in "order status"). As soon as we know your freight cost, we will let you know by e-mail and in "order status". Then we also tell you how we intend to deliver the goods. And of course you can tell us to send the goods in another way.

After that, when we have received your payment we initiate our work to send you the goods.

To be able to buy from us you must be of age.

We will not carry out orders with product value below SEK 200:- (excluding VAT).


The prices / your total cost

The prices on the English text pages does not include VAT and VAT will normally be added (at present Swedish VAT is 25%).

To all prices the Swedish VAT will be added with only two exceptions:

  1. the delivery is to a country outside EU = no VAT added
  2. the delivery is to a company (with an acceptable VAT number given) inside EU = no VAT added

Companies intending to make a large order are requested to ask for a quotation.  

Freight charge will be added.

Depending on addressee country, weight, etc. we decide how to send the goods. Your order will be sent by mail if possible. Perhaps letter or postal parcel can be used. We will let you know as soon as possible after your order have been received.

Service fee will be added.

Service fee SEK 50:- will be added for orders with product value below SEK 1500:-.


Time of delivery / payment
 

Time of delivery

Normally we can send your goods within 1 - 2 weeks after we have got your payment. Otherwise we will contact you by e-mail. We will also contact you if any of the wanted items has longer time of delivery.

Invoice

A 'cash' invoice will be included in the delivery. It will e.g. contain all necessary information for a company's financial accounting.

Payment

All payments have to be done in advance and in SEK (Swedish Crowns) to our Swedish postal giro account 157 45 53-2. Don't forget to write down your order number on the 'paying-in form'!

We are investigating the possibility to pay with Credit Cards. But unfortunately, today we can not offer this possibility.


Remainder

Returning goods / complain of delivery

We urge you to very carefully investigate your goods when unpacking (about Transport damage, see below.)

You have full right to return a product within seven days from the day you received the product.

If you want to return a product, you have to contact us first by e-mail (within the seven days) to get your "return code". And then we can help you. If you are complaining of a product which has production defect(s) we would appreciate a thorough description of the kind of defect.

When returning product(s) with defect(s) or wrong product has been delivered compared with your order we will answer for the return freight cost (but you will have to lay out. Please tell us if you want that amount on an account for future purchase or if you want us to send you the payment and a proposal on how). A new, faultless item will be sent to you free of charge when we have received the defected one.

When returning product(s) that are in conformance with what you have ordered and product(s)  without defect(s) you answer for the return freight cost.

When returning a product it has to be sent in its original condition, in its original box. A copy of the invoice have to be enclosed or the invoice number written down. Returned goods must not be sent as cash on delivery (C.O.D.) or similar because then the goods will not be collected and paid for.

Transport damage

We urge you to check the parcel as soon as possible for possible transport damages. You should do your first check (of the parcel itself) at your Postal Office. And when you open the parcel you should check carefully for products that possibly could have been damaged in the transport. If you  discover a "transport damage" you are requested to report this as soon as possible to the Postal Office where you got your parcel or to the driver delivering the parcel at your home / office. This is the normal way of handling transport damages.

Ownership

We have full ownership to all products until they have been fully paid.

Disagreement

It is our sincere hope that all our customers should be satisfied with our products, with the delivery and with us. And we sincerely hope that possible disagreements emerging can be solved by us together with the customer so that he/she anyhow gets satisfied. But, as a last resort, disagreements that cannot be solved by ourselves will be handled by Swedish courts and in accordance with Swedish laws.

Reservations

As a big part of our items are made by hand and by different manufacturers our information in words and pictures about the quality and attributes of our items must be seen as approximate.

We also make reservations for possible misprint, possible translation errors, price adjustments from our suppliers, changes in the product design form and production, changes in state charges and taxes / VAT, abnormal raw material price rise, abnormal currency changes and other things beyond our control.
