DAY 1 Thursday	ARRIVAL IN STOCKHOLM Stockholm Beauty on Water... Stockholm was originally built on 14 islands where the lake MÄLAREN meets the Baltic sea. Water is covering a third of the total area inside the boundaries of the city. Stockholm is a big city, but you will never feel it. Even in the Summer heat, the breeze from the sea will find its way into the city, and there are a lot of parks and green areas inside the city that will add to the feeling of being in a small town instead of a capital. The written history of Stockholm starts some 700 years ago, but there are a lot of rune stones and other traces of cultural influence showing that the presence of man has a long history in this area. 10.00, 15.00	Stockholm City Hall Stockholm City Hall is one of Sweden's most fascinating and impressive buildings, both in terms of its architecture and artistic embellishments. Like many of Stockholm's sights it is surrounded by water and has a tower showing that shows off the official emblematic three golden crowns. These three crowns have become both a national and international symbol for Sweden. City Hall is the home of the Stockholm City Council. It is here that state visits, official receptions and banquets are held, including the Nobel Ceremonial Banquet. Guided Tours: The City Hall is available for visits only through guided tours. Times are available daily between 10.00am and 12.00 noon. During the summer there are tours at 10.00am, 11.00am, 12.00noon, and 2.00pm. These tours are held in English and Swedish. Tours in German, French, Italian and Spanish are also available at some of these times. If needed, tours can also be organised in other languages, such as Japanese, Chinese and more. The City Hall Tower: The tower is 347 ft, and offers a climb up the narrow staircases to where you are able to view the beautiful view of the city. Opening times for the tower are between May and September from 10.00am to 4.30pm.	*

10.00, 15.00	Entrance fee VASAMUSEUM The warship VASA sank in 1628 on her maiden voyage in the harbor of Stockholm. After 333 years under water she was reclaimed from her water grave and after several years of restoration she has now been moved to her final resting place in the spectacular museum. Duration of the visit is about 1 - 1,5 hours	*

	Cruise LAKE MALAREN to ROYAL PALACE - DROTTNINGHOLM Stockholm Beauty on Water... This boat tour takes 1h and we have our coach back to center again (30 minutes). If visit at DROTTNINGHOLM PALACE, where the King and Queen of Sweden are living you have to add at least 30 - 45 minutes more.
