You try to get points by taking certain piles of cards. To take a pile you need to play a colorcard with the same color as the previous colorcard and a numbercard that is higher than the previous numbercard.
Each player starts with 10 cards and on your turn you must play 2 cards, adding to your
own piles or taking one of your piles or an opponents. Afterwards the points are calculated and first to reach 1000 wins.
