This is a remake of the old Scotland Yard game, Mr.X escaped from London and has now been seen in New York (and southern Manhattan). WTC are there on the board and on the boxcover which add a sad feeling to it.
One player gets to play Mr.X and the other players are detectives which try to catch him. It's hard to tell how even the game is, it seems like 3 detectives is enough to find him every game, with more detectives it's simpler of course... (to make it fair, each player should become Mr.X. once in a series of games, and then the winner is the one that survives the longest time)
The differences from Scotland Yard is that detectives can use roadblocks also a helicopter 3 times in a game. The roadblocks are very helpful since Mr.X can't pass them, they are put on a stop a detective just left. If there is a block on a taxistop, Mr.X can pass by bus and subway, if there is a block on a busstop, Mr.X can pass by subway. The rules don't say what happends if there is a block on a subway...(if he can't pass that block at all, it seems like it's very easy to trap Mr.X)
