Key to the tribe Hylocerinae

These genera have serveral characters in common and a merging would be feasible, but very unpractical The many allied genera are so similar and the phylogeny of this group still so uncertain that it seems best to maintain the traditional generic lines until research support change.

*Epiphyllum lauii and E. crenatum has flowers that stays open for two days but they expand in the evening and regarded as noctural.
