Since we live in a house from the 1940’s there are always things to improve. These are a few things of what we’ve been doing lately

1998:        Refurbishing a storage room in the basement to a guest room. Come and try it out!

1998/99:    Adding to our house by "lifting" a section of the roof.
                This gave us another childrens room and a small toilet.
                This involved new wallpaper, flooring etc in the whole upper floor (apart from the structural work)

1999:        New wall paper and newly sanded floor in living room.

2000:        A garden shed in the garden, which has actually been used as a play house during the summer....

2001:        We have removed a wall between the old living room and the old dining room to create a larger living room.
                We have also changed roof, and added new insulation in our attic.

                 The kitchen is about to become new, larger and up to the latest standard. That involves a lot of work.

                A fireplace is to added to our living room.

                On top of this we are planning a larger extension of the house, see below drawings.

2002:         The extension of the house was finalized in May 2002. After that we painted, painted and painted again. Installed electric heated floor.

                We covered the floor. We made a completely new garden. Lars is by now certain that this is the only house he refurbish in his lifetime.
