The 1998 Equalizer Trophy was played in Laxå, 400 km west of Stockholm. Once again we all enjoyed a really great stay at Mats parents cabin/villa by the lake. This house has everything, I can not believe they have all that sitting right out there in the middle of nowhere.
This time activities included waterskiing (at 40 knots), dart, sauna, fishing, barbecueing (at least twice a day) and really long and enjoyable cardgames in front of the fireplace in the beach cabin.
Unluckily, the course was once again hit pretty hard by rain prior to our arrival, making half of the fairways very much harder to master.
At this tournament we had the opportunity to welcome Mikael Liljedahl to the gang, and the man had the poor sense to steal his first Trophy on the very same occation. However, Mikael was a great addition to the gang , not least because he is a relly skilled cook.
