On track!   


The pilot is laying flat on his front with his hands on the steering and gas and sometimes adjusting the exhaust pipe length with the feets. This changes engine torque.
 

It's a special feeling indeed running these boats around 80 knots. This boat is powerd by an older German KÖNIG engine which was very popular 1950-70.
