"I miss you" was originally titled "Gail Biffen" (a Gibberish phrase) and written for the "Debut"-album. It was left of the album, cause neither Björk nor Nelleh Hooper found a chorus for the song. Björk re-wrote the lyrics for the song and started to work on it again together with Howie B during the "Post"-session instead. The result was raw Latino. "I miss you" became the final "Post"-single in January 1997. The two CD EPs contains remixes as well as a previously unreleased song, the Icelandic techno-track, "Karvel". A video was directed by Spumco, who originally made Ren and Stimpy. "Ren and Stimpy are my favorite cartoons. I wish I could marry them", Björk said. The video for "I miss you" is computer-animated and so complicated it took nine mounths to put it together. The BBC found the video a bit too daring so they censored it (they censored the sight of naked ancles once).

The words
I miss you
And if you believe in dreams
I was peaking
And if you believe in dreams
I get so impatient
I know by now that you'll arrive
I miss you |
