Björk "Crying"

Björk has said "Crying" is about being misunderstood in general rather than not having a boyfriend. The song is a bit housey and I think it's a shame it wasn't released as a single. In 1994 a man named Simon Fisher, claimed to be the co-author of this song. He brought the case to court and to his evidence he had an early demo-recording. Björk claimed Simon had a similar song to "Crying" on his computer, but she was responsible for the music. Simon lost the case but the the incident costed Björk and the record-company 50 000 pounds in court costs.

The words

I travel
All around the city
Go in and out of
Locomotives
All alone

There's no one here
And people everywhere

Crying 'cause I need you
Crying I can feel you
Crying 'cause I need you
Crying 'cause I care

It's a hot day
And I'm dressed lightly
I move carefully
Through the crowd

Here everyone
Is so vulnerable
And I'm as well

There's no one here
And people everywhere

Crying 'cause I need you
Crying I can feel you
Crying 'cause I need you
Crying 'cause I care

Only if a ship would sail in
Or just someone came
And knocked at my door
Or just something

Crying 'cause I need you
Crying 'cause I need you
