Choose the right Björk-biography

"Björkgraphy" (Martin Aston)

If you're really addicted to Björk and wants to know everything about her, then this book's all you need. 336 pages of biography based on articles and interviews with former band-members , collaborators, friends and relatives. It starts in Reykjavik 1965 and ends in Bangkok 1996, after the reporter-incident. "Björkgraphy" is, in fact the first comprehensive Björk-biography, to be found since Björk's said she doesn't want a biography until she's 80 years and has got grand-children. Anyway, this book gives you all the events of her life so far. This is the ultimate guide to the wonderful world of Björk....buy it no matter the prize!

"Björk - the illustrated biography" (Paul Lester)

This book brings you about 80 pages of biography and more than 80 nice pictures. The biography's really short and based on articles. This book will probably not tell you anything you didn't know already. I still recommend you to buy it because of all the pictures of Björk during her Sugarcubes-days and her solo-career (a lot of these pictures has never been published before). Since "Björkgraphy" hardly contains any pictures at all I'd recommend you to buy both these biographies. "Björkgraphy" to get a full biography on the Björky woman and "Björk - the illustrated story" to get some pictures.
