Björk "Venus as a
boy"
If you buy this single you get a shorter version of "Venus as a boy", two non-LP-tracks and three remixed songs from the album "Debut". Sounds very tempting, but though the single contains all this stuff it's my least favorite one. I guess it's because the non-LP-tracks sounds so much like what stuff that's been left over in the studio usually do. The first one, "Stidgu Mig" sounds a little bit like an old folk-song with just a few lines to call a melody. The second one, "I remember you" sounds like a worse version of "Like someone in love" without that grateful string-arrangement at the end. Here are some good remixes, though. A long, kind of dreamy version of "Venus as a boy" with a heavy drum-sound in the background that fits the string-arrangement just perfect and a 12 minutes long techno-version of "Human behaviour" with some really elegant samples made by Underworld. But I would still not recommend this single especially unless you're a "Debut"-maniac or a not to fastidious Icelandic-folk-song-maniac. There are many much better Björk-singles than this one.
