Failure to address these and many other issues can lead to failure of venture at worst and at best a much more expensive operation than you planned. So make the connection. RussThai services are particularly suitable for small to medium firms wanting to explore the CIS/Russian market or considering locating an office.
The CIS/Russian market.CIS/Russia can be a very complex and expensive place to try to set up operations, live or do business. The reasons are many and well publicized - financial instability, political instability, market naivetÚ, crime, etc. If you are a small to medium firm you may be shying away from even exploring this exciting market opportunity because you can't afford the services of the big consulting firms and don't know how to proceed on your own. That is where "RussThai" can help. Send us your inquiry including just what you would like to accomplish, and we will tell you if we can help you, on what basis and at what cost. We can offer you a small guide to answer some of the questions above and to bring to your attention many more issues you need to address ($free). While we recommend this to small and medium sized firms, we think what you really need is a good low cost way to explore the potential of Russia for YOU - without spending a fortune. How do you do that in a place with a different culture, different alphabet and where a typical international hotel costs 300-500$/day (+breakfast), a rental car is 200$/day and the breakfast buffet is 25-35$. There are ways to find out what you need to know and do what you need to do without spending that kind of money. There are ways to travel and live there at reasonable cost. What you need is information (and for a foreigner it will be very expensive to get it after arriving in Moscow) from those that have already been there and already done it. We can work on whatever level of involvement you prefer - from consulting with you by phone, fax or E-mail, to arranging a low cost extended trip to make contacts and survey the situation; and up to and including going with you to Moscow (or ?), to set up your firm or J-V operations.
One of the principal functions of my service is to provide professional guidance to small to medium size international companies wishing to expand their marketing or manufacturing capacities within the former East Bloc or Asia. A feasibility study is imperative to those companies wishing to venture overseas as it will alert them to any possible pitfalls and also effect a substantial economy of time and money to the client. This is predicated on the assumption that they have little prior knowledge of the country of their choice and that their potential investment would be in the millions or, at least many hundreds of thousands of dollars, whereas the fees and cost of my service would be a fraction of those sumes. It is anticipated that generally the entire study could be accomplished within two to three months depending largely, of course, on the requirements of the client; the depth of the study would, however, be dictated by the client. The studies would provide our clients with sufficient information on the chosen country and their service or product in that country, to permit them to make a truly informed decision as to the feasibility of commencing operations or not. The studies will include overviews, among others, of the economic, political, legal, and financial scenes together with advice on matters pertaining specificaly to marketing or manufacturing the client's service or product in that country. The target client companies could be from any type of business, but being small enough not to be involved with one of the major accounting/audit firms who represent the main competitors in this field. we would expect that the services would be more economic than such competition and we would also provide a much more personalized service. So make the Connection NOW! Sincerely,
Bjorn Hammarback
