| "It was a disappointing result for me personally though I am very
pleased for Gerhard and for the Team. I got away from the line very well, but then
Villeneuve moved over onto me and I had nowhere to go. His left rear wheel touched my
front right and it damaged the wheel rim. I came into the pits to change tyres and I had a
new steering wheel. However, the balance of the car felt all wrong. After this, I just had
to concentrate on finishing the race and scoring some points and the car gradually felt
better as the race went by." |
