| "I am hugely disappointed, obviously, as I was on course for a
podium finish and points which would have put me clearly into 3rd place in the Drivers'
Championship. The start was excellent and the race was going very well. I was pushing very
hard to catch up with Hakkinen, and suddenly there was a problem with the brakes, so my
race was over. It is rather ironic since I had chosen the spare car because it was
handling so well - and until that moment I was extremely happy with it." |
