Alesi Race comments
"I am delighted with the result, but I must say that the conditions were very difficult. At the start, it was impossible for me to see anything. I did everything I could but I also concentrated hard on keeping the car on the track. The race was a good one, very exciting, and I had a good fight with both Jacques Villeneuve and with Rubens Barrichello. I was very careful at these times. One time, I went off and on the grass when I was fighting with Jacques but I came back onto the track. The car was really very good throughout for me, but I know we can work more to make improvements. But to finish on the podium is good. The car was great in the wet and I really want to thank the team for working all night. It is a really good feeling to finish behind the Williams and to lap the rest of the field."
