Diving

Imagine to just for the moment only exist in the now, all the usual worries an problem kind of fade away for a while and you become intensely focused on experience just this moment.
I got hooked by diving by that feeling.

After a limping start (I was just awful) to the underwater world I took of to Egypt and the Red Sea. I went to Sharm El Sheikh and Colona Dive Center.

My training to become a scuba diver started in Östersund and Storsjön (no, I didn’t see the monster) and to compare that with what meet me in Egypt just isn’t done.
I was so amazed by the colors and all the fishes that I went through my air just in no time. (being a novice didn’t help either)
I was hooked, part of that I blame the staff on Colona since they made me feel really welcome.

For a while I worked in Enköping. Which is kind of close to Stockholm.
I grabbed the opportunity to continue educate myself in diving.
I went to Scandinavian Scuba Divers and learned how to  help myself and others in the event of an emergency.
I can now call myself a Rescue diver thanks to my teacher Magnus and all my classmates that is.
