Scott
Bakula, a Golden Globe Award winner for Best Performance by an Actor in
a Television Series Drama for his role in "Quantum Leap," made his theatrical
motion picture debut in "Sibling Rivalry," opposite Kirstie Alley. His
additional feature film credits include "Lord of Illusions," "My Family,"
"Color of Night," "A Passion to Kill" and "Necessary Roughness." Bakula
lends both his acting and singing talents to Hanna-Barbera's animated musical
"Cats Don't Dance," which is scheduled for release in 1997.
For
his role in "Quantum Leap," Bakula received four Emmy Award nominations
and four Golden Globe nominations and was honored five times by the Viewers
for Quality Television. He also stars in the television film "Bachelor's
Baby," to be broadcast this season on the CBS Television Network.
Bakula
made his Broadway debut as Joe DiMaggio in "Marilyn: American Fable" and
was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical
for "Romance/Romance." His additional theater credits include the Off Broadway
and Los Angeles productions of "3 Guys Naked from the Waist Down" and the
Los Angeles and Boston productions of "Nite Club Confidential."
He
was born in St. Louis and now lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is October
9, 1954.
