To our home!!

Now you are so near you can walk the rest of the way, only 3 km Let's suppose you are in Vetlanda for a day. When you have seen the town, which takes 5 minutes, you decide to take a trip out to Espefall and PaKatt for a while. After 14 km winding bad asphalt roads, where you pass metropolises as Aspedal and Lövholmen, and then another 3 km even more winding and worse gravel roads, via gigantic places like Mölarp and Lyckarp you finally arrive to... the crossroad to Espefall. Now you only have 3 km left. Be careful, the road is very narrow and winding. Soon, very soon you arrive in...

Hey, there´s Seven in the window Espefall! My home! Espefall contain some houses, outhouses and a barn. In the picture to the left, you can see MY house, which is connected to the woodshed, which is connected to the carpentryshed. The outer door to my place is the same door as when the house was used as a toolshed.

Look! there´s a little cat-door in the orinary doorTake a walk around the house and then you are at the back-yard (logical, huh?!?) Here is the terrace (which I almost never use, though it's in the north side... no sun...) and here is also my little garden. Here I grow..... well nothing at all (hehe)!! In the door at the terrace there is another little door.... the cat door! Here the kittens can come and go as they want to. The only problem is that Gosta and Arvid are getting to fat to come through... (haha). Seven, however, is in good form and has no problem with getting in or out. Go back to the front side of the house and walk through the door (if you don´t wanna try the cat door, huh?!?!?!)

Love you in the winterWell now when you are inside, the first thing you will see is the open fire place (if the drapery isn't closed...). In this fireplace, a small forest has burned soon. In the winter the fireplace is very necessary.. to get the temperature up over 16°C indoors!!!
Love you alwaysOpposite of the fireplace you will see the sitting place. The sofa in the picture is MY PLACE!! Watch out to take that place... then you will be gone with the speed of light. If he (I) doesn't sit by his computer, you can bet he sits here (or acually lay down) in the sofa. On the wall there is one of the guitars 'Lucky 7', which he have had for 11 years when this was written. Strange that one hasn't become a bigger guitarvirtuoso after such a long time?!?!? There are some green plants in the shelf as you can see. I don't understand that they survive with the little water I give them in some sporadic occasions. Turn around and what will you see there?

This one will never be played again... naild to the wall.... Another guitar. My Fender copy. Orderly nailed to the wall. This guitar brings back a lot of nice memories of good, even better but also poor concerts and other rubish. My electric guitar!! In the picture you also can see a painting done by my aunt. In the painting you can see.... yeah that's right, my house. It's very nice if I can tell you my oppinion. On cat-safe hight there are some shelfs with some this and that that I have collected during the trip of life.

And after this we go to the next favourite place....

Let it be music and it wasThe music corner. It's here I spend all my salary... in cd's. If you would be able to check the drawers too, you would have seen.... even more and more cd's. Look really close and you will see some tapes up on the blue cd-shelf. The tapes are from Brazil (so far away) and they are soooo good!!! Lighthouse Family, Pandera, C-Block, Fabrica, Sect, Jam & Spoon and so on and so on. Wow wow wow. I really miss the time when I had my own DJ equipment. It would be so much fun to mix "this music with some of my own". Maybe it could be done here in the computer... hummmmm I have to check this! By the way, the present cd-player is the 3:d one I have, 2 cd-players have been broken in ten years by "to much work" (haha) and the one I have now is going on year number 4, so I guess it will go caputt in the next year. We have to wait and see! After this we look up and we'll see..

The dragon of EspefallThe chimney!! Since the fireplace is placed in the middle of the house, there is also an indoor-chimney up at the attic. It is painted by my cousin (Jörn) and it's sooooo cool. The chimney has 4 sides and 4 are also the elements... Fire, air, soil and water. The front shows fire (see the pic) with a real nasty dragon. Notice that the mouth, the nose and the eyes are made by clay and in other words the work of art is in 3 dimensions!! Cool! The other sides are also really nice. The air side with clouds, winds and a face (who is it? I still don't know...) and then there is Jörn's compulsory hand-print (he does this in almost all paintings). The soil side shows as you can understand... soil and some plants. Here I had the big pleasure to paint a leaf. I choose green color. Finally the water side with waves and fishes and boubles. The best looking chimney in the whole world!!

If you had x-ray sight you would see the chaos behind the drapery hahaNow we are upstairs at the attic. Here is my waredrobe, or maybe you should call it "the space behind the drapery". Really good "panic-cleaning-hide-all-in a hurry place"!! After this picture was taken there has been a some rearranges... Where you can see a chair, a table and a lamp, well this is the place where I sit right now, desperately punching my keyboard to make this site readable for you, in other words here I now have the computer.

The place where I spend my days.... heheWell, exactly as this it now looks (but I use to sit on the chair..). My very best thing I own, my computer. It's a Pentium II 450 MHZ, 128 Mb memory, 8,4 Gb c-drive, 17" screen, Soundblaster Live soundcard, Matrox 8 Mb graphiccard, Voodo II graphicaccelerator, Cd-writer, Scanner, Web-cam, coulorprinter... well, I think I have what I need... hehe almost!

DIF Djurgarden, my team, the best in SwedenLook! Yet another painting by Jorn. DIF!! Say no more!! Djurgarden rules!! This painting was made by Jörn 1997, specially for me. I am very proud of it. In the lower left corner you can see the hand-print (I did tell you that it's in almost every painting done by him). If you look really close in the lower right corner, you can get a glimpse of me. Yep, there I am, with hockey-helmet on my head and all. Really good done by cousin Jorn to get me into the picture too.

Seven, The basket catOn the opposite side of the attic you can find what once was a wastepaperbasket, now it is Sevens private place. During several months I tried to use the wastepaperbasket as, yep, a wastepaperbasket, but every day Seven overturned it and used it to sleep in.... Finally I gave up and let Seven win the battle of the basket. Now it is always turned over and very often you can see Seven inside it. I also have to tell you that I now use the catbasket as a wastepaperbasket, so I guess I had my revenge after all!!

Another Brick In The Wall Part IVAt the opposite gable (the attic is just over half the house) where it is 5,5 meters up to the roof there is something strange in the wall.... Has the wallpaper fallen down? Why is it bricks in a house built of wood? Well, dear reader, this is my very own little work of art. Built into the wall (as you can read about in another site there are some bricks. This is done by purpose because walls can be sooo boring, so why not try to make a little fun with the wall and build some bricks in the white boring wall? Fun I thought but most of the people that come here and visit me don't understand what the meaning of this.... And this is just what I mean... There is absolutely no meaning with it... I guess it irritate someone for sure!

Yep, that was all for now. Our trip in my home is finished. Thank you for your visit and please feel free to come back again.... soon!!
