This is a unique opportunity to develop a better working-field and a better education and to make pro-fessionals working together. Two other districts are also involved in this project.
This community has it’s own network house to support the people in the district. Children, youths, and families can go here for counselling. They can get help in this house to mobilise the important persons in their social network and get them together to discuss their situation. Family treatment and family counselling sessions can also be arranged. The families do not have to give away their identity to get the help from the network house, there is no journals kept over the families that seek help.
One of the thoughts with the network house is to do crossovers between the different work-fields and keep the children and the families in focus. Multiversitetet is a project that has its roots in the network house. People with different professions who work with children, youths and families, students, from example the school of social work and professors meet to link theory and daily work together.
