Tyson has become the Master of Obedience in Northern Sweden 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998. In 1997 he also became The Master of Obedience and Working Dogs in Northern Sweden. This competition is for Boxers and is held by the Swedish Boxer Club. In august 1999 Tyson finally became a Swedish Obedience Trial Champion = SLCH.

We have also competed in the novice level in search and rescue. We passed the test and won that competition in our class.

"Korad" is a title which tells you that he has passed the advanced mental test done by the Swedish Working Dog Club. Tyson´s mentality makes him very suitable for a professional working dog and that is why he can work with me as a security guard dog (= Tjänstehund).

Swedish Obedience Titles

We have four levels in Obedience in Sweden: Obedience level 1- Lydnadsklass 1, Obedience level 2 - Lydnadsklass 2, Obedience level 3 - Lydnadsklass 3 and finally the Elite level - Elit klass.

You have to get a first price in each level before you can move up to the next.
You can also get an Obedience Diploma - Lydnadsdiplom/ LP in each level if you get three first prices. If you get three first prices in the Elite level your dog becomes an Obedience Trial Champion - SLCH

It´s almost the same as US´s Novice level, Open level and Utility Dog, with the exception that we have four levels instead of three. I think you can compare our LP to US´s Companion Dog - CD.
