Background
Navigators, who are David Jassy(24) and Andrés Avellan(25), navigates with help
of music influences from all over the world. David and Andrés have grown up with hiphop
since they were children. They both grew up in Hagalund, Stockholm, known for it´s growing
hiphop scene. David started his musical life by performing as a Human Beat Box-artist. Andrés
then worked with the rapgroup High Quality. In the beginning of the 90's the Blue Hill Project was formed
- a hiphop collective of rappers, dj´s and dancers performing across the country. The last years
David and Andrés has spent alot of time in the studio working on their own material and producing
remixes for other artists.

Music and lyrics they create
together. They do the lyrics separate and David makes most of the basic melodies
while Andrés taims the bass änd drums. They produced and mixed alot
together with Andreas 'André' Romdhane. With their lyrics they do, as
they themse,ves describe it, "daily life illustrations' - dark and bright
stories from both the ordinary and glamorous life. Navigators has invited a few
of their friends as guests on their debutalbum. The guests are Ayo(One eye red),
Feven , O-lex, Nevada Cato, Masayah, Nina Woodford, Laila Khider + many more.
