QSEdit for
Windows 95 v 0.99 (Beta 3)
Edit (and enhance...) the sounds of your
DB50XG or SW60 beyond what seemed possible...
Description
QSEdit is a shareware editor and librarian (to
some extent) to handle editing of the user
voices on Yamaha DB50XG and SW60. These voices are accessable ar Bank 63,
Program 1-32. It may work with the QS300 as
well, but as of now it has only been tested
with the DB50XG.
Features

Graphical user interface.

Create and edit new QS300 voices for the Yamaha DB50XG,
SW60XG.

Can play QS300 voices with 4 elements on a DB50XG/SW60XG
by splitting the voice into 2 voices on 2
MIDI channels. To use this feature check the "4 element mode" check box.

Can capture QS300 Bulk dumps on incoming MIDI.

Enables you to create and handle voice libraries.
Requirements

Windows 95 (should work with Windows NT 4, but not
tested yet)

Yamaha DB50XG daughter board or SW60XG sound card

Graphics card supporting high color (16 bit color
depth at least) is recommended
Known Limitations
-
This beta will only run satisfatory in "High Color"
display mode (16-bit color depth or more).

The function of QSEdit together with QS300 is not
yet tested. To have a chance to work corretly it will require you to turn
"4 element mode" off.
Registration
Registration is not yet available since this
is a beta version. Final release is not set, but I'm aiming for october
1998.
