According to the Riksdataföreningen in Sweden will we have no dramatically changes in the computer technology development In the 1980th.
The hardware are changing to be smaller, cheaper and more powerful.
The borders between different types of computers are disappearing. The costs of the Software in a computer system are more than 50% of the total cost for the system.
The developments are leading to that the price will go down and the buyer will have more form its money. Databases are another trends that are moving forward very fast. No standard is set in databases.
New functions will be introduced under the 80th, like text -TV, E-mail, teletext and so one.
