On wednesday we will have a fight against Murder Incorporated [MiNC]. I look forward to an exciting game. Our choice of map is CTF2M2, I don't know the choice of MiNC yet.
A few people will probably join Clan Necronomicon in the near future. Some are from other clans and some are skilled Quakers without any clan membership.
The webpages of Clan Necronomicon will from now on be accesible at URL http://headhunter.home.ml.org/ please update your bookmarks. This domain will make it a lot easier if we want to change ISP.
Now our clanpages has reached the incredible number of 200 visitors, Blues News will have to watch out... =)

Wow, the Quake 2 demo is a killer!!! Just take a look at these shots and enjoy. Click on the image to see a larger version (except for one of them).

I took the screenshots while playing the 3Dfx OpenGL version. All except one are resized, because each GL screenshot is a 900 kb TGA file (100 kb JPEG). The feeling in Quake 2 reminds me of Doom, it's very futuristic, especially when you enter the communications central. Another impressive element is the architecture, it is very natural. The weapon animations are very detailed, as everything else in the game. When you have killed some of the enemies the corpses are surrounded by flies.

My problems with GLQWCL are solved, I renamed my CTF-catalogue to QW and everything worked!!! Perhaps the 15-bit inverse palette must be in the QW-catalogue, I don't know...
Last night I received the demos from our Clan fight against [YD] Yellow Devils. It is recorded by [YD] and is quite jerky, I don't know why. You can grab the demos in the match result page. I found them quite educating.

I am having serious trouble with my GL QuakeWorld Client. After a reinstallation of Quake I am receiving the error message "wglCreateContect failed!". Normal GLQuake and normal QuakeWorld works fine. If you have any tips, please let me know.

The match versus [YD] Yellow Devils is over. Clan Necronomicon lost with 261-2989. Yellow Devils played very experienced and skillfull. I can only blame our bad result on lack of playing together. Read more about the match on the match result page.
