Dont upload a half finshed page. No one likes dead links. And pic's that dont work. Instead, upload a Temp. page that lets the surfer know whats coming up, and about when it's coming to be there.

Graphics.
Use few, but well schoosen pic's. The more pic's you have, the longer the page will take to load.

Background.
Use a single colored background, so that there is no problem to see and read the text. You do want people to read what you have on your page? Right?

Movment.
Blinking text is kinda iritating!
But could come in handy when you Realy want to mark something out. You can use blinking text, or a small gif pic. But dont overdoit.

Copy...
Find some page that you like, and dont like. Whats good? whats bad? You only use what you think is good. Make your own version of it. Dont just ripit...

Simple !
Dont overwork your page. The more pic's, Java and Whatever you have dont make the page any better. It just makes your page more confusing.

Experiment.
Learn the basics of HTML, so that you can make a page in Notepad for instance. Then it also makes it easier to see and figure out how otheres have solved a problem that you just might have on your page.
