The Begining

Lets start at the beging.
<HTML>
This tels your browser that this is an Hyper Text Markup Language. Evry document should have one. Atleest one.

<HTML>
Betwen those to tags (the one below) should be your html document. You dont need more than an start tagg and an end tagg. Look att the difrense and gues witsh on is start and end. It's betwene here ALL ur codes gona be!
</HTML>

Ok, thats esay. And it basicaly is. Lets move on.
<HEAD>
Sorry to say, havent quit fully understand what this one realy do. Or what kinde of taggs should be in here. But never mind. Befor you end this tagg, you should put in the title tagg.
<TITLE>
This is the place to give your page a good name. Look at the top of your ewb browser. You se it? I have given this document the name -= JLar =- . After given your document a name, it time to end the tag. You should know how to doit. But any way, this is how this documnet should be lookin now.

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE> JLar -HTML </TITLE>
</HEAD>

</HTML>

Upps!!, almost forgot one tagg, just as important as the html tagg.
<BODY>
As it says, it is th body of your document. After puting in head and title, there is BODY. It's betwen body taggs ALL your other taggs gona be. And ther should only be ONE body tagg, except the end body tagg! What you but in the Body tags, that is what we gona see on yor web page.
</BODY>
And ofcourse, the body taggs should be placde in the html taggs :-).

Have a look at it now

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE> JLar -HTML </TITLE>
</HEAD>

<BODY>
</BODY>

</HTML>

All of thes taggs, there should only be a start tag and an end tag!

I told you this was easy! :-)

Lets move on, lets make a page!

Making a page

Open a text editor. Just something you can write ordinary text in.
Write down what I have just gone shown you. Copie it straght down to your notebok or what ever you are using. Or you can write it down your self. Witsh is the best thing to do. But not the fastes wasy :-/
Change the text in the <TITLE> tag to someing you prefer.

All we have to do now is to save the file. This can be a bit tricky...
Save (Save As/Spara som) your html document as lets say. Firstpage.html You can aslo save it as Firstpage.htm It dosent matter...
And now lets hope that your html doc, not get a name like this...
Firstpage.html.txt If it gets a namne like that. Save the file again. Like this this time. "Firstpage.html"
And do use the " signs when typing the name!
Now you must have a file caled Firstpage.html. Open it up :-)

Allright! Your first page is done!
But it looks boring, right? :-/
Now type some and any text betwen the <BODY> tags.
Save the page and reload the page in your browser..

Your page might look like this
Example...
