For now this page will be a plain collection of nice restaurants of various kinds and price levels.
Manfreds brasserie (Nordhemsgatan, Gothenburg)
Interesting Austrian/Italian-owned restaurant, with moderate prices and a rather different menu. Personally I melted for the fried noodles with honey and chili glazed giant prawns
Westra piren (Eriksbergshamnen, Gothenburg)
This is just one of those places. Very expensive but worthwile. Really good food, oriented towards seafood, good service and a splendid view over seaside Gothenburg. By Guide Michelin considered to be the best restaurant in Sweden.
Sjöbaren (Haga, Gothenburg)
Good and beautifully decorated seafood at fair prices.
Ginza (Vasaplatsen, Gothenburg)
Sushibar with good sushi and tori at fair prices. The sushi hasn't so much horseradish as usual, and my feeble west-oriented taste likes that with a sushi.
Bali (Vasaplatsen, Gothenburg)
Indonesian food that tastes just like Indonesian food should taste. And if it shouldn't, it still should if I was to judge. Really price-worthy many dish menu.
La Gondola (Kungsportsavenyn, Gothenburg)
Pizza, pasta and the compulsory steak. La gondola has something for every taste and wallet. Try the chefs black conscience...
Pepperoni (Viktor Rydbergsgatan, Gothenburg)
Probably the best pizza in Gothenburg. Large.
Sakura (Citypassagen, Gothenburg)
Good japanese eating, at relativeli high prices. The environment is nice, though.
Maharadja (Queensway, London)
Cheap and really tasty Indian food. Good service, and nice furnishing.
Hereford beefstouw (Anywhere you might find one or Linnegatan, Gothenburg)
The steakhouse. Get it served as you like it on a hot iron plate. If you feel like a steak and doesn't really care if it will cost you a little, this is the place to go.
Panorama hotel (Eklandagatan, Gothenburg)
Good, slightly experimental touch. Medium to expensive
