All Iowas were decommissioned and recommisioned a number of times before being modernized in the mid 80's. By 1992, all had been decommissioned again. They were all stricken from the US Naval Vessel Register in 1995.

BB64 Wisconsin:In reserve as a Class B Mobilization Asset at Norfolk, VA.
