This is a litle bit of cheating but i like to go the easiest way ! For this tips you got to have the eyecandy plugin.

Mark the area you want to go bevel.

Press now on PLUGINS/EYECANDY/INNERBEVEL and use settings :

You have now maked you're firs innnerbevel picture and if you don't have a similar picture like this you are completely wrong. But don't give up just try again and I'm sure you make it !
