transportation systems and efficient traffic facilities imply an ever increasing challenge
to the task of traffic engineering. Only the most modern engineering techniques

As part of the effort of our road engineering department to meet the challenges of the
growing road engineering techniques, it has upgraded its technical capacities to the most
recent methods of computerized land surveying of route corridors, data analysis and road
design techniques. In this regard the company uses the latest surveying equipment (i.e.
GPS and total stations), various packages of road design, mathematical modeling and
simulation, and drafting software that have now enabled the company to fully computerize
the whole design process of the road engineering department.
The design team under the road-engineering department is composed of the geometric and
drainage, bridge design and pavement design sections that are exclusively involved in
their specific assignments. Most of our projects are based in Ethiopia except two which
