How to make animated GIF-pictures.

This looks like one picture but is really six different pictures.

If you look closely, you can see that we have made small changes on each picture. Look at the eye and on the candles.

The picture format animated GIF works like when you draw pictures on pages in a pad, each a little different to the one before, and then make them browse fast. It then looks as if what you drew is moving.

We started by making the first picture and then saved it as six copies. Then we changed five of the copies a little.

You also need a program that piles the pictures and creates the one animated picture. There are a few different programs, this is a link to one of the most popular. The picture created comprises all the copies you made and browses automatically. So you don't need to save the different copies you made after the animated GIF is constructed.

But watch the size. It takes a long time to load a web-page with large graphics.
