ZEBRAS
The zebra is a very interesting animal which is found in Africa. It's unique coloring allows it to hide from the pretitors of the jungle. The black mixes with the forest, and the white mixes with the heat and the dry lands. The Serengeti is the home to 200,000 of these grass eating wanderers who travel together in large focks. Within thes flocks exist a complex social system that gives organization to these nomads. They are unfortunately, the source of food to many of the carniverous inhabitants of africa. The lion takes in about 6 to 7% of the population every year, the hyena adding an additional 3-4%.
