KANGAROO
Australia is often associated with the kangaroo which is home to this unique pouch animal. Interest with the kangaroo grew quickly way back in 1788, when the British began to colonize Australia. The mother kangaroo has a pocket which she uses to carry and protect her young during their first 6-11 months. A huge strong tail is used in a way to balance its wieght as she hops in motion. She is equipt with 5 clawlike fingers and two huge toes. Food consists mostly of vegetation. Don't make trouble with her, the kangaroo is also known for its fighting ability, which looks a bit like boxing. This animal is only found in the low continent and has not been breeded elsewhere.
