HIPPOS

Certain animals have developed since pre-historic times and represent a link to more modern life. Hippos can trace their roots nearly 60 million years and have survived and developed because of there great size and eating habits. Often eating large quantities of fiber rich vegetation, the hippo has a very strong digestive system. Its size alone, has made it a fiece competetor in the wild kingdom, few preditors could dare take on a beast that wieghs1800 kg. This happy fellow eats and mates in water !
