UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!
So you have found your way to my Australia pages. You probably wonder why I would have pages about Australia? Well, like a million years ago (93/94) I went to Melbourne in Australia as a Rotary exchange student. During the year in Melbourne I met some truly awsome people. Both Australians but also exchange students from all over the globe. Some of them I still keep in contact with and I guess I always will. I went back in late '96 and found that alot of things had changed but the people were (mostly) just the same. But I guess it will never be the same as that magical year which held that very special essence from which legends, heros and dreams are created. :)

After arriving to the suburb of Hoppers Crossing, My Rotary club placed me in the Westbourne and Williamstown Gramar Schools. Can't say I was to impressed with the school, But I make some great friends there. Funny that, I was the first exchange student to get demerit points. But most of the credit probably has to go to Rags since there was just no way in Hell I would have gotten them without him ;) . There were more Rotary exchange students at WWGS, We had Frank (DK), Alex (BRA), Stoltzy (CAN), Ayako (JPN) and later on in the year Cecilia (ARG). Westbourne
Me, Alison (Can), Pia (DK), Stoltzy (CAN), Mads (NOR), Neil (RSA), Jens (DK) & Paul? (USA) Well, After about a month into the exchange. Rotary took us exchange students on a trip around Australia. The Photo was taken at Mt Olga. The photo shows apart from me, Alison, Pia, Stoltzy, Mads, Neil, Jens and Paul? The trip was to put it in a nice way "interesting" ;) With lots of memories which are better left untold. I'm sure the exchangees gets the idea ;) BTW. Thanx Karin LOL
After the trip around Australia life went back to normal, well kinda normal. I moved to the Tobins who lived out on a hobby farm out in Tarneit. We had animals everywhere 2 dogs, 2 birds, a shitload of sheep and of course sam the pet lamb. Sam was really cool, and usually came to meet me at the gate when I got back from school. He was also the only one that was stupid enough to come in for the trimming all by himself ;) . This photo was taken at that occasion. Life was good out there and the Tobins were really good to me. But soon I felt it was time to do something new... Tarneit
On the Safari I had met Neil "The Lionhunt" Cable. I had heared that he was a bit of a bike freak, but I guess I just wasn't prepared for the amount of pain I was in for... Neil who had brought his own light weight racing bike all the way from RSA. Really wanted to go on a bike trip from The Blue Mountains outside Sydney and all the way down to the Vic border. As we weren't allowed to go of on things like that by ourselves, He needed some idiot to go with him... Guess who was stupid enough to go? To qoute from "Apocalypse Now"-"The horror, The horror". I think my ass has never been as sore as it were after the first 300 klicks. I even had to make a pub crawl everyday just to keep the pain at a reasonable level ;) Ofcourse this was done out of medical reasons...
