Shakira- one of the artists I never listen to out of my free will... (another one is Britney)

Beastie boys- A better alternative, more likely to spin in my recordplayer
Under this section I'd like to tell you about some musicgroups that doesn't fit in among hip-hop, electronica or rock
Beastie Boys- I don't know how to describe them. Their first hit "Fight for your right" is a clean rocksong. Good for... parties. They also continued with the great "Sabotage", still rock, but harder. Later in their career, like in their album "Hello Nasty" they seem to have grown into a more hip-hop kind of style, except for some songs that isn't rock or hip-hop. They like to experiment with sound, that's one of the main things I care about in music. I want groups to experiment with music, and in that, take music to another level. Beastie boys are now older, but only better!
Shakira- I don't like her music. I just wanted to give her some space here because of all the attention she's got everywhere, in my class, school and probably in all of the world. She's every tenth mínute on tv, if not on MTV on the pepsicommercial. She's a great subject for jokes though.
Blossom Dearie- A very talented jazz-singer. Her songs feel really emotional and the melodys really sticks in your head. Jazz is good. Very good.
Destinys Child- They've got really good voices, and very good song.I have bumped to every single they've released, Beyonce is also starring in "Austin powers 3- Goldmember". Cool or what? She's also going to make a soloproject...
Lauryn Hill- She's got a GREAT voice and great songs. She won several grammys for her solo-album "The miseducation of Lauryn Hill". That is a great album! recommended. She was also in the group the Fugees together with Wycleaf Jean and Pras. The fugees have released two albums, of wich the seconf is the best, famous for it's Bob marleycover- No woman no cry- and it's Roberta Flackcover- killing me softly. It was good cover I tell ya.
